Making A Purchase On Line - Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for your billing and shipping details so that we can complete your order.
We accept Delta, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo, Visa, and Visa Electron using PayPal secure payment pages. You do not have to have a PayPal account in order to use their pages as they now accept all types of credit/debit cards. You will receive a payment receipt from our PayPal registered email address hobson.mandy@btinternet.com..
Please ensure that you return to the Merchant website (Cherished China) once payment has been made using PayPal as you will be shown your order receipt.
Making A Purchase By Telephone - You can place your order with a credit/debit card payment over the telephone by calling 01264 336776
Confirmation of Order - A copy of your order will accompany goods to the purchaser's address. If you require an invoice for your records please contact us and we can send one out. In the unlikely event of us being unable to fulfil an order or a part of an order, or if there are any errors in a placed order we will advise you as soon as it is possible.
Currency - All prices are in GBP (Great British Pound).
Shipping And Handling - All UK shipping is £4.95 with the exception of our 'Ceramic Pet Pack', 'Paint where the shipping is £20. International shipping costs are available on request.
Glass orders will carry a delivery charge of £4.95 for 1 item or £7.95 for more than 1 item if going to the same address.
We do provide an Express Delivery service (additional £10.00) but please contact us before you order as we will need to confirm the timescale required and check our current work schedule.
Delivery Schedule - As our items are bespoke, we try delivering your order within 28 days. If you need your item quicker than that, there will be a surcharge of £10 or 15% for glass orders.
Back Orders - If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges - We do not charge VAT
Payment/Credit Card Security - When the order is placed at our website you can select to make a secure payment using a Paypal account, or you can select with a debit/credit card.
Guarantee - We guarantee your satisfaction.
Privacy & Personal Data Held
By placing your order you are offering to buy the goods and permitting us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation or use your details for other purposes without asking your consent first. Subcontractors will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Any original moulds, images or baby prints will be returned with your order. We will also delete any digital copies we have made a month after dispatching your order.
If you subscribe to our newsletter your email address is only used by Cherished China for this purpose and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Signature Plates - Our Signature plates are hand-painted with our designs and sold with a special pen and instructions. Friends and family sign the signature plates and after 24hrs the plates will need to be baked in the oven at home for a permanent memento. The plate should be put in a cold oven, which is then set to 150°C (300°F). When the required temperature is reached bake for 35 minutes.
When ready turn off the oven, open the door and allow to cool naturally.
The plate is now a fully-washable signed personal memento. Always wash at no higher than 55°C.
Care of your Cherished China - We recommend hand washing of all our Cherished China items. Due to the nature of the clay used for our pottery and the manufacturing process we do NOT advise you to put your Cherished China pottery into the microwave. The item will become too hot for you to handle and may cause scalding.
Bespoke Pottery Orders - Orders can only be accepted with full payment. A 50% refund is permitted up to the proofing stage. Once you have agreed the proof, 100% charges apply. No changes can be made once the proof has been agreed by the Customer. Some paints, glazes and lustres used by Cherished China are not suitable for use with food or for use in the dishwasher or microwave. Please ask if any of these apply to your choice of design or finish. Please refer to our disclaimer.
Glass Orders - We only use glass that is either handmade or finished by hand (postcard range). As a consequence of this, some items may vary in size or shape from that shown. All sizes are for guidance only. Small bubbles or imperfections may also arise - these are due to the handmade nature of the products and cannot be avoided. Items that have more than 3 bubbles or have a bubble that breaks the surface of the glass are not sent out. Once the order has been placed, it cannot be changed or cancelled. Only faulty or damaged personalised items can be exchanged or returned.
Each piece or glassware has a set area for engraving included in the price. If your artwork exceeds this area, the artwork will be resized or additional charges will apply. Whilst we endeavour to match your requirements, each piece is hand-painted and individual. We are not able to match colours and styles exactly and we can only interpret photos, pictures and reproductions supplied to us. It is up to you to ensure that important details are brought to our attention before approving the proof.
In the event of loss or damage occurring during the glazing or firing process, Cherished China accepts no responsibility or liability for claims in relation to 'emotional distress' or 'trauma'. The purchaser agrees that Cherished China shall be liable only for the cost of replacement and/or refund to the original value of the item.
Cherished China act as an agent for all glass keepsake orders. Liability of the glassware and its distribution remains the responsibility of Bellpigeon Ltd.
Cherished China cannot be held responsible, accountable or liable for any loss or damage to your finished pieces, howsoever caused, once the finished pieces are in the hands of a postal/delivery agent other than a Cherished China employee.
Cherished China reserve the right to discontinue products, to change specifications or price of its products at any time without notice and without incurring any obligation whatsoever.
