Birthday Parties & Special Occasions

If you are celebrating a birthday or special occasion why not let us help you to make your celebration unique.

We can offer party packages for all family occasions such as birthdays, weddings, civil or naming ceremonies and Christenings, helping to keep the children happy during the event.

Corporate events, graduations, prom nights and balls can also be catered for with a bespoke package and service. Contact us for details.

Cherished China is a great venue for a party too. We have a party room that you can use, and our fully trained staff will be on hand to give you lots of 'top tips'. We can arrange party food and you are welcome to bring in a birthday cake.

Choose from one of the packages below let us do all the work for you!

Pottery Painting Party £12.50 per person*
1 - 1½ hours for 4 -7 years
1½ - 2 hours for 8 years and over

This package includes

  • A dedicated member of staff to host your party
     
  • Your choice of ready to paint pottery from a range including plates, bowls, mugs and figurines                                                                              

  • All paints (non toxic), brushes, sponges and stencils needed                 

  • Glazing and firing, making pieces food safe

  • Crowns and personalised party bags for the children to decorate (for ages 4 - 7 years)
     
  • A present from Cherished China for the birthday child to remind them of their party (for ages 8 years and over)
     
  • Finished items are individually wrapped and are ready for collection a few days later 

  • Your choice of party food (pizza or picnic box) for an extra £4.50 per person

Glass Coaster Party £14.50 per person*
1 hour for 8 years & over

 This package includes

  • A dedicated member of staff to host your party

  • Using glass fusing techniques, you will design and make your own glass coaster using pre-cut coloured glass.  All materials and tuition included

  • Glass coasters need to be fired in a kiln, so will be ready to collect a few days later 

  • Your choice of party food (pizza or picnic box) for an extra £4.50 per person

Clay Modelling Party £16.50 per person*
2 hours for 8 years and over

This package includes

  • A dedicated member of staff to host your party 

  • Tuition, clay, modelling tools, paints or glazes, brushes, sponges and everything needed to make a money box, animal, house or pot

  • Drying, glazing and firing for a professional finish 

  • Finshed items will be ready to take away a couple of weeks later

  • Your choice of party food (pizza or picnic box) for an extra £4.50 per person

Silver Jewellery Party £45 per person*
2½ hours for adults and 14 years and over only

This package includes 

  • A certified Art Clay tutor to host your party
     
  • Enough Silver Clay to make a pendant, charm of key-ring
     
  • Tuition, use of all tools and professional kiln firing
  • Your fine-silver jewellery will be ready to take home on the day
     
  • Your choice of party food (pizza or light refreshments) for an extra £4.95 per person

***NEW*** Foam Clay Party £12.50 per person*
1 - 1½ hours for 4 years & over

This package includes

  • A dedicated member of staff to host your party
     
  • 2 small pottery animals or 1 larger item from a selection to decorate
     
  • A variety of foam clay colours and any accesories needed  
  • Finished items will be ready to take home on the day in a personalised gift bag
     
  • Your choice of party food (pizza or picnic box) for an extra £4.50 per person

Exclusive Package

Why not hire the whole studio for the ultimate party - available outside usual opening hours for up to 40 people.
You pay just £390 for up to 20 people, £550 for 20 - 40 people.
Catering can be arranged as an optional extra from light refreshments and pizzas, to sandwiches and hand-made canapes.

* All parties are subject to availability and a minimum number of guests. Silver Party min of 4, Glass Coaster Party min 6, all other parties min of 8 guests.  Prices shown above are based on parties being held at our shop,  parties at your home or a venue of your choice, start at £14.50pp and may also incur a mileage surcharge (please contact us to check). 
All parties must be pre-booked and secured with a £20 non-refundable deposit.
